to countless souls lost, and yet
not to have any left for my own heart
to ponder on…
To have helped laugh the pains away
from faces weary of the daily battles,
and yet not having the faintest smile
as I face my own struggles…
To have sat in silence with outpouring
compassion to desperate souls,
and yet not finding my own peace
or even forgiveness for my own ghouls and demons…
To have waited for broken wings to spread
and conquer the skies, and yet
not having the ounce of courage to
even dare to dream of jumping…
To have done all these except for myself,
What am I, oh Lord my God?
